Hotel Vela Sole is located in the marvellous territory of Siniscola, the most charming centre of Baronia. This stretches between rich mountainous areas, including Monte Albo, and a vast coastal area of more than 30 km, almost entirely characterised by beaches of the finest sand and crystal-clear water that bring to mind tropical, paradisiacal landscapes. From north to south of Siniscola, among the many destinations are La Caletta, with its marina from which ferries depart to visit the magnificent Gulf of Orosei; from here, one can discover the enchanting hidden beaches of Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu and Cala Golorizè, and access the spectacular Grotte del Bue Marino caves. The La Maddalena Archipelago can be reached from the port of Palau.

Visit the enchanting beaches with their marvellous seabed, where you can dive and snorkel or enjoy a relaxing boat ride and, for those who love nightlife, spend a lively evening among the locals. Continuing southwards, you will find the beautiful villages of Santa Lucia, Capo Comino and its dunes, Berchida and Bidderosa, jewels of the island's north-eastern coastline, protected natural areas and home to numerous animal species, including the pink flamingo.

The area offers more than just seascapes, the entire surrounding mountainous area reserves numerous attractions such as natural caves, the most famous of which include Sa prejone e s'Orcu, between the Monte Albu area and the walls of Monte Lato. Rich in forests, springs and beautiful views, the area is particularly popular with those who enjoy trekking, hiking and horse riding or cycling. Just a few minutes from the hotel is the town of Posada, with its ancient castle and its crystal-clear water beaches, repeatedly awarded 5 Vele by Lega Ambiente.
